Default Water temp

Kevin

We had the same down this way. Low 80's about two weeks ago and now we have low 70's. The wind and stroms have stirred things up a bit making locating the fish tough at times, but that's what makes this sport so fun. Trying to find the fish. Consistent south winds have set up a good pattern again and the fish are going bonkers!

tight lines and good fishing to all!!!!

Default Awesome!!!

Looks like some pretty awesome fishing to me! What kind of water temperatures have you been seeing? We hit the low 80's a couple weeks ago up here on Little Bay de Noc. It has since slid back to the low to mid 70's, but the bite is still good. Nice report.

Default Door County Walleyes

The Door County walleye fishing has been nothing short of spectaular so far this summer! Many fish over 28 inches have been caught with numerous fish over 30 as well! I've been working 20-45 fow with crawler harnesses and crankbaits and looking to see were the bait pods have been setting up, as the bait as been moving from day to day. Some of the cranks I've been running have been the deep Reef Runners and Husky Jerks. Colors have been changing from day to day but gold and blue and silver have proved to be the most consistent. Attached are a few pics from recent trips along with a recent video. You can also find more videos on my youtube account from recent trips. Get out and enjoy this fabulous fishing as it will be going on the rest of September.

Got to go fish on!

Tight lines and good fishing to all!!!

Default Door County Walleyes

Just got back from fishing Door County for walleyes during the full moon period. All I can say is WOW!!!! 62 walleyes in total with 26 walleyes over 28 inches. With 7 fish over 30 inches largest going 31 1/4 inches. All fish were caught from sunset till moon set. We were fishing 12-15 fow looking for pods of bait fish. The last night we worked a little harder for them as we had a lot of alewives on our lures. This night bite is pretty much done now with the amount of alewives that have moved into the areas to spawn. I am in the process of putting a video together of the all video we shot during this trip. Will post it when it's complete. If you're interested in a spring walleye trip for 2011 or just have questions, you can e mail or call. As most clients are rebooking for next year. So prime dates are filling up. Still have a few openings in July, August and September for the large walleyes and salmon in Door County.

Tight lines and good fishing!!!
