check the stream flow on the main page, that should give you an indication of when rivers are too high to fish.

Thanks,Big Musky. We are having alot of rain ,here in central illinois right now.Hope it doesnt rain too much for the rivers.I have been the the Root river a few times. What rivers do you fish, and what is hot place(river) right now?I might just head that way,if it is really good.
I have heard the Milwaukie river has alot of areas to fish, where it isnt so crowded.Esterbrook park has been mentioned to me,as being a good place to fish.
I havent been that far north, but I need to.I am really looking forward to seeing the 9 ' St Croix, being bend like a 'U'.
Thanks alot

the run is on for all rivers. Firetiger cranks, inline spinners, spawn sacks will all take fish. Some people fish spoons too, but I find them too snaggy for rivers.
