Default More big bass

MORE BIG BASS......

The Largemouths here are mostly 20 inches long or over but, 1 or 2 were just ticking the 20 inch mark and, fought with alot of spirit....

24" 8LB largemouth from Fish Lake, Waushara Co. Caught it on a storm thunderstick that is very colorful and they don't make it anymore.

Both of these bass came from Little St.Germain lake.

LARGEMOUTH (June of 2006) 24 inches long, 7.3 pounds

It was pouring rain outside, scattered showers and I decided to fish my neighbors dock since it has a roof on it. I brought a Rapala Rattling Rap and a Rapala X-Rap. I was casting the Rattling Rap and on the second cast I seen this huge bass follow the lure in from deeper water. Disappointed and upset the thing did'nt hit the lure I kept casting. Then 15 minutes later the rain stopped and from the corner of my eye I seen a dark shadow move beneath the boat lift next to the pier I was fishing. I picked up my rod with the X-Rap and twitched the X-Rap in it's face. Caught the fish, measured the fish, released the fish, and here's that photo.

SMALLMOUTH (June of 2002) 20 1/4 inches long, weight unknown

I was fishing a sunken island and using a carolina rigged tube. I caught a few avergae size largemouths and a small 12 inch smallie. Then I started seeing my line move to the left slowly. I set the hook, fought this smallie for at least 8 minutes or so, landed her, and released her after a photo.......

Default Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass over 20 inches long

This is a forum for both species of bass. Any bass that exceeded the 20 inch mark can be posted here. In the state of Wisconsin only a hand full of anglers catch these slow growing giants and I thought they deserved their own thread or forum.........
