It probably was me, anyways we had some decent action from the pier. jigging spoons worked really aggressivley was the ticket, got to make your bait stand out with all the alweives. some really nice cohos in right now. browns as well, in the mornings and evenings i have seen quite a few cruisin around.

Was that you Scott coming on the pier when i was coming off? Time i realized it might have been you it was too late to say hi.

A buddy and i were out yesterday morning.Got 2 out of 4.It turned out that was pretty good considering 4 out of 5 boats coming in got skunked. We had a 10 lb King and a 12 lb Brown(Seeforellen).Browns have been very rare in the Sheboygan area again this summer.Landed both fish 65fow north of town. One on a rigger 30ft down and the other off a board with 5 colors of leadcore.Spoons and dodger/fly seems to be best.Tried plugs to for awhile but no takers.

hey TJ what do you have for a water temp @ the gap? Thanks Scott

Now that the cold water is everywhere, coho and rainbows have disappeared. There are now more kings being caught in 60-90 fow.Not outstanding but improving this week and the fish are inching closer to shore. There is loads of bait at all depths.Trolling about 30-40 ft down is best right now.Alot of different baits are working so there is no real pattern. The last few days fishing has been terrible.Alot of boats getting skunked, including some charters.

Late report, thursday and saturday mornings in 100 fow south of power plant went 8 for 22.Almost all the action in top 25 feet on dodger/fly combos behind slide divers and boards.Equal mix of rainbows and cohos.Kings are far and few between. The few that are being caught down deep in 80 to 120 mostly.Water temps on surface are in upper 50's..

According to all reports the salmon action off Sheboygan is still red hot in 150 to 300 fow.Coho making up most of the catch.Kings are starting to show along with rainbows.Everything in the top 50 fow.Hopefully the near shore action will get hot soon.

Tried it again today,nothing.. <_<

Hey TJ, I guess the pier in port has been hot but that info came from the bait shop owner in town so take what you will from that info. I haven't seen the crowds of people out there yet so maybe the words not out yet.

Fished end of north break water yesterday 7-9p.m. and it was dead.Dozen or so boats trolling the gap but not a fish caught that i saw. There are loads of alewives everywhere.Despite the recent hot action for coho around the gap, east wind must have shut them off.

Just want to retract my statement about the Pigeon River.Just checked it out and the water is still on the murky side.So is the Sheboygan.Upcoming rain in forecast is not good.Anglers Avenue Shop reported a few Browns caught on South Pier today.

Water in the PIGEON is good and the SHEBOYGAN is finally dropping and clarity is improving by the day.Not many fish were caught over weekend. That is the report from a DNR creel census employee.Should improve this week with better water conditions.
