Very late report, oops! Last week wednesday caught 3 coho on the river.A small jig and white plastic worked well. One of them was a hog!!! ;)

That is a PIG buddy. Sometimes the smallest bait catches the biggest fish! Nice job!

Got 4 kings earlier in the week on skein under float. As of today the harbor is to muddy from the 12 footers crashing the shoreline. The water in the marina is turning muddy also.Alot of fish up river and that water is also on the dirty side from runoff. Its to bad the water is all screwed up for the weekend. :(

we jigged the gap friday mornign and lots of kings in right away in the morning as well as some bait. once the sun came up they were long gone, water was warm all the way out to 100ft. not very good. good thing is this time of year they have to show up no matter what, found 67 degrees and that was the coldest we found.

Caught 3 kings today in the a.m.,all three fish in same spot(gps)on same rod.In 82fow,30 ft down hit a small pocket of colder water. Otherwise 71 degrees most everywhere just about all the way to bottom.Nothing on riggers.Slide divers worked today. The boats that came in about the time we did had 0 to 2 fish.Tough going right now.Not a soul on the piers. ;)

On friday,my fishing buddy Herb and i were out on his boat in 265 fow and caught a limit of 10 fish.(1 king,2 lakers,3 coho,4 rainbows)Boards and 5 colors of lead with orange 00dodger/small white fly with vertical black stripes has been the best for us this summer.Caught a couple on a wonderbread spoon off rigger. All fish 25 to 50 ft down.Water temp on the surface was 70 degrees.Caught one very large coho 50 ft down and it was our 10th fish.(see photo)On sunday Herb and another friend of our were fishing 90 fow and had 7 kings by 7 a.m.,one was a 26 pounder. They used the same stuff as we did on friday. So there is real good action at all depths right now.
