Had another fantastic spring in Green Bay found some new area's that produced some huge fish for clients. Great day bite jigging, also got into some lakers, browns and big pike. Just 3 days ago i caught the biggest eye ever in my boat a 14 lb 14 ounce walleye. This fish was spawned out and was an incredible fish my client caught, and we were not trolling which was even more incredible!

Here's a few pics...

Ice fishing has been great this year despite the mild temperatures. Check out some of this years walleye highlights at the video below!

Hi there fellow fisherman. Heading up for the first time to Green Bay this weekend. I have friend who's been up a few times but figured I'd see if there is anyone out there who wouldnt mind lending a hand. Looking for a good place to stay sat & sunday that is close to a launch. Also if anyone has any advice on where the bite may be a little more hot in some area over another. Plan on spending alot of time cruising the bay charting lots rocks n weeds but if you have a part of the Bay you wouldnt mind helping out with all info will be appreciated. Good fishing to all

maybe for your guide its the time of year when big fish start showing up in predictable areas for the fall, therefore its easier for him to put his clients on more numbers of big eyes more so then in the summer when they are scattered. fish have predictable patterns per time of year. i know for me up in little bay de noc right before it freezes up is the best time period for big fish, and out in the bay for that matter. fish cedar river quite a bit in the past, about 20 miles to the south of little bay de noc. fish are chasing spawning whitefish around and stuff. they are nomads though and will be where there is food.

lat e fall is the best time to get big eyes, besides egg weight in the spring in the fall is when your fish are going to be the biggest. putting on the feed bag for winter, all the way till ice up is good. post spawn is certainly a good time to get numbers, but size isnt going to be there.

Hey Doors, what is your favorite month for big eyes(wallhanger size)on the bay ?

Ive only fished the bay a hand full of times for eyes; just got my boat last year :)
I would say for wall hangers; I would say late march through april to get prespawn fish.

Green bay has been awesome the past several days!!!!!!! Fishing on the west shore the past 2 weeks with jigs and plastics and trolling have been very very good for numbers and size.

Jig bit is been very good the last few days, casting cranks and blade baits have also caught alot of fish. Yesterday had a 70+ day with 10 fish in the 24-27 range. 10-20 ftw has been the best for us.

Fished 4/2 and 4/3. Saturday's action was ok, Sunday sucked mainly due to weather. Water temp was around 40 degrees (maybe a little under in some areas). Morning bite seemed to be better....food for thought.
