Does anyone know if you still have to pay to park in the lot by the launch even for ice fishing?

Went out yesterday with a buddy we had to battle the wind and the water skiers.... but once the sun started to set they went away and so did the wind we ended up with about 30 gills 8-9 inches and a bunch of throw backs along with a bunch of small perch and a few in the 8-10 inch range bass fishing was slow but we did manage to pick up a few from inside the lilly pads not a bad evening!!!
Went out again today with NOBADDAYS for a few hours and we did pick up some gills in the 8 inch range and a bunch of small ones along with small perch again....not sure how many gills we kept but we were there at the slow time of the day again and the obvious battle once again with water skiers and wind but it could have been worse and was a great day to be on the water!!!! Oh yeah no bass either didnt really try though.

Hothead,

Had the same thing happen to me but we saw the cop writing the ticket so were able to avoiod the ticket. He explained that the parking spots are for people with carry on water crafts and that the spots are stil subject to launching fees. He also explained that people from the lake association check the launches regularly and call the police if someone has not paid the launching fee! Sounds like these people have way to much time on their hands.

Went out to Keesus again today caught some decent gills and a couple small bass and seen a 29 inch northern caught.Motor also stopped running half way through the trip again, then got the boat loaded up and took the family back to the car which we had parked on one of those spots reserved for Cars only and had a 20 dollar parking ticket for not paying the launch fee on that vehicle as well.I did not realize you had to pay a launch fee for all vehicles you bring otherwise i would have parked it on the street.Nothing but bad luck going to keesus think im done with that lake.

Went out this afternoon caught some decent gills and some decent perch think we kept about 15 combined.Could not find a bass for nothing Tried tossing Strike King spinners lake is pretty weedy so using those was not all that effective. Then went to start the motor to leave and.....it would not start had to troll back, took the plugs out and cleaned them up and that did not work hopefully nothing to expensive.
