Was out yesterday and perch fishing is still going strong on the east side. Fished in 6-7 fow with minnows. The females are on a fall feeding frenzy! Fished from 7 to 11. Nice to see quite a few jumbos.

3 Walleye, 1 Sauger, and 1 White bass. About 15 Sheaphead thrown back or to the Pelicans. 1 Sheaphead caught jiggin, all other fish caught trolling crawler harnesses. Much better day today than the last trip. Would've trolled longer but weed piles that kept floating by kept screwing up the boards. Oh, and it got a little hot out there. Glad we went early and that the clouds held on till about 10:30-11..... Puttin the boat back on the trailer and packin it up was a sweatfest....

Water temps 79-80 yesterday. Fishing was good when the wind picked up at 6:00 pm.
Large gold blades with orange beads worked really well for us. Caught quite a few smaller white bass today and perch. Lots of green stuff building in.
Good Luck.

we were getting our fish a little faster then that, 1.0-1.5 but the key is not to troll in a straight line. then you get your boards to speed up and slow down, sometimes they want em goin faster and sometimes they want the slower ones. either way, drive around till you find some bait, shouldnt have any problem finding it, its everywhere. then start to fish. also watch your graph to, bigger fish have been belly to the bottom. a lot of times for us. remember to that depending on water clarity and where your marking fish to keep your baits above them. be aggressive with your blade sizes as well, bigger has been better for us.

Get hooked,
Cast the weed edges if you know where they are up the northwest corner or pull harnesses 0.9-1.1 on gps.
Troll the mud rock transitions.

Was out this morning again and the bass fishing is really really good. Landed a good 20 fish or so 16-18 inches.
Also the eye fishing is good with morning hours best or when the wind picks up.
Perch are starting to go with majority 9 inches but some pushing 12 inches!

Fished saturday evening and did decent considering I was out myself. Caught lots of rock bass, multiple 16-19 inch smallies, gills, sunfish, sheephead and quite a few eyes. East shore jigging reefs and trolling spinners. Wind picked up around 6pm and the eyes started biting with the 2 foot chop.

Fished here Saturday mornin and Only got 1 smallie. The perch i'm assuming where what was nibblin my worm jigs..... But then when I set up for them, nothin. Thought the wind might have died down a bit, so we pounded over to the mud, wrong!, Big waves and lots of weeds floating made trolling fail horribly. Pounded back to west side to end the day feeling a little sick. At least I gotr the smallie. And no flies.

saturday was tough as well, we got some fish . reefs and humps were horrible except right away in the morning, no wind made the water clear up and the perch invaded. couldnt keep em off, so we went to the mud. harnesses fished deep got are fish, all fish marked were close to bottom. sunday was tougher, same thing. perch everywhere, no eyes at all sunday. heard it got a little better when it started to blow a bit.
