I was wondering if someone can shed some light on some areas in the harbor for ice fishing? Not looking for any secret spots just doing some research and hearing about alot of places but when I look on the map I have they are not on there.
McKinley Harbor/Marina South McKinley Yacht Club - are these the same place?
I also have a harbor on my map called the Milwaukee Yacht Club, can you ice fish it.
National Ave Boat Ramp- Do people ice fish this area.
South Shore- Is this the park area? Or South Shore Yacht Club.

Also is there any areas that should be avoided- known current areas. I have never ice fished such a large harbor just looking for some local knowledge.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

The 3 places I've ice fished in Milwaukee are south shore Yacth club, The summerfest lagoon and McKinnely Marina. Do not attempt to fish anywhere in the Main harbor, do not attempt to ice fish by National ave as of 2 days ago it was wide open, ships go threw there daily breaking up ice. Personally I do have any secret spots these fish are constantly cruising around. So if you happen to have the right baits down in the area they cruise by and the fish are hungry you should hook up.

Those 3 place have had some decent ice with 6-10 inches as of this past week.

Good Luck!
