Fished from 5:00am-8:00am today. Lots of bass in the shallow weeds and some pike shallow as well. Most fish showed signs of spawning and reluctant to bite. Some beds have female and male fish on them.

Fished Sat. 1/26 1:30 to 7pm. Saw one flag (not mine) the whole time out. Ice is about 5" to 6."

does anyone know if they kill the weeds off the east end of the lake like they did a few years back? any info would greatly be app.

Nope the weeds are thick like a forest out to about 5-6 fow.

The ice is very dangerous. A fellow fisherman was walking on the ice and fell thru. He was on SE area from public launch. While walking off my spud went thru 4 times in different spots. PLAY IT SAFE UNTIL NEXT WINTER...

I live close to this lake and do well out here. I catch a large variety of fish out here but only the cats and pike are big. Small eyes and bass . crappie and gills fair but spread out. Also my friend lives out here on the lake and has the same results with double my hrs trying. anyone want to trade info or technique on this lake I am interested in talking. . . . :confused:
