What is the best way to rig a musky sucker?

I general you need a quick strike rig of some kind. I never use the large J hook that goes through the snout. Some rigs put this on and all it does is hold the leader to nose of fish. This can be better accomplished with a safety pin or rubber band rig (like the Pete Mania Lift Off Rig). Most serious musky anglers make their own sucker rigs.
