Hey guys, looking at getting a boat and need help:
So I have found an older boat I really like in Wisconsin. The seller says he has no title for the boat but does have his Wisconsin registration card. He also says he has no trailer title because it's not required for a trailer of its size in Wisconsin (18ft boat).
Can anyone shed some light on wisconsin requirements and possibly it their guidelines mightl present problems if I try to register the boat and trailer in IL? What would be the general procedure in this case?
I moved from NJ a few years back and have no idea about the requirements in IL (not a true FIB).
