Thanks a lot Get Hooked. I sent in a few of my favorite 2009 fish pics and I am surprised other pics weren't published. I had a few pics of fish that were larger then some of the ones chosen for our region in the magazine. But I am happy with Master Perch Angler for region 5 :). I sent in a pic of a 41 inch carp I landed but, who wants to be known as Master Carp Angler? :p I also had a few trout and salmon that shoud've made it but there is always next year. This year just has to treat me as good if not better. The winter sucked for me though so I am hoping the fishing turns around for the best.

The Master Angler and InFisherman member Bill Heygi seems to be in just about every InFisherman Master Angler's contest I can remember. Congrats to him to, theres a awesome pic of a rainbow he caught. Very beautiful colors on that fish. Get Hooked, you actually talked to Bill Heygi when you and I went fishing once. Remember that trout that "jumped up on the ice by itself"? That was a great day of fishing, slow but who else but "Get Hooked" has the luck of dropping a spawn sac down the hole and instantly getting a fish on?

I remember that day and ......... that guy. Well, congrats to him too. When I go to my cottage this year, I will see if I can get a plate size crappie to enter. Maybe even one of those giant gills that are in there. I wanna be a master angler too. I know I'm a pro at putting bait on a hook, but I dont know if I wanna be known as a Master baiter.

And "if" I let you go up there again, I call you cant enter anything you catch from at least that lake, and you better mow the lawn! Good job again for being recognized from In-Fisherman as a master perch angler. Just dont let it go to your head like I will if I ever make it.:D Kinda surprised you didnt get more congrats from others, But maybe they pm'd you.

Its not a big deal, it is cool seeing that I made it in the magazine I have loved reading since a kid but, no big deal. You will catch some giant fish as long as you keep at the sport. Also, I would hate to be known as a master baiter, that is why you have to catch fish, lol..

I will mow the lawn but, we will worry about submitting giant fish pics when we catch giant fish up there :p. You know you can trust me with your fishing secrets man, as I hope I can trust you. Dont worry, I wont let the "Master Angler" thing go to my head. Nothing worse then a fisherman that lets things go to there head. In this sport if you think you are the best there is a million more that are better. But a 15 inch perch is a rare fish, and I am lucky enough to have landed 10 perch that hit 15 inches, and 3 that hit 16 inches. But I put a lot of time on the water for them fish, and the effort paid off in fillets, memories, and a Infisherman award. YOU CAN DO IT GET HOOKED!!!!
