Berkeley Gulp Spawn...Anyone Try It?

So I absolutely hate using bait, and most of the time I'm fly fishing, but certain times, susch as when the water is higher and off colored, the added scent of bait might be what gets the fish to hit. I could buy real spawn, but i have heard a lot of good things about the Gulp Products. Just wondering if anyone has tried the Gulp eggs and spawn and whether they found it was a worthwhile substitute?

I have know of some people who have tried it in the past, but I have heard nothing too good from it when the water is fast and murky, though it did have some success. I had a friend who used them to tie flies with though and that worked good... lol! I'm still gonna stick to floating a sac while its high and break out the fly rod a little later.

I've tried the Gulp eggs quite a bit and only have caught small [12"] trout with it. Honestly, the gulp minnows have worked better for me.
