So this question has sort of been brought up before but there are a few limited magazines out there that cover trout, steelhead and salmon fishing. Most don't contain the full level of information that the guys I speak to are interested in. Therefore, if you guys were going to subscribe to a trout/steelhead magazine, what would you like to see covered in that magazine

I really need help with this guys.
What would interest you enough to subscribe to a salmon trout and steelhead mazagine as opposed to so many others on the market? What topics, articles, etc. do you think are lacking with todays publications and what you would really enjoy? what do you want to see, learn or know? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks all.

There is a great lakes angler magazine that covers alot of techniques on the open water. So it should cover everything else:
Shore casting for salmon/browns, harbor fishing techniques (casting, jigging, skein), ice fishing harbors and rivers....and then of course river techinques. Specifically float fishing during high, ideal, low flow conditions. How to read water and indepth analysis of when fish move to runs, deep holes. It should cover fishing spinners, cranks and spoons in rivers as there pertain to situations. Should cover what triggers salmon and steelhead runs (water temp, season, rain, etc).
You could even have some articles about using steelhead techniques for river bass.
Boat control in small rivers with a canoe, kayak. Harbor fishing from a kayak.
You can see that I expanded it beyond just steelhead because I think you greatly increase the diversity of magazine by covering brown trout and salmon as nearly every steelhead fishermen I know will target these species from shore as well at some point during season.
There is a ton of stuff you could write about that are basically just novelty columns in main stream fishing magazines.
