I'll be overlooking Nagawicka Lake in Delafield when I grace my lonely stand Saturday morning. . . But, I won't be trading in fishing, just sharing. ;) I'll let you know how it goes.

hunted sat. afternoon in the rain, was a eventfull night. seen 13 deer, shot a doe at 5pm sat. thought i hit back a ways, so when in dought back out, but with the rain it washed my blood trail away, so we went up to the farm rigged up with lights and headed back in, i thought i heard her crash about 40 yards from the stand, so we went down in the area, tokk about 15 min. and we found her right where i thought i heard her go down, sweet-i have a buck tag for this year. went out sunday afternoon- was sitting in the rain and watched a lone doe work her way down the trail, she got 40 yards and turned broadside, i let the carbon express with a muzzy straight thru the heart, she ran 40 yards and tumbled. no tracking nessesary, watched her fall in the open-cool a second doe. both about 140lbs field dressed. i went to get the big indian at close, he was gone, so i walked back to the farm and he was there, said he shot a doe, thinks he hit her back a ways also, so we grabbed the lights and headed back in, 40 yards later another doe. 3 does this weekend off the farm. sweet!!!! i will post a pic tomorrow, i forgot the camera in the garage.

I hunt by Holy hill. I went the second weekend and just saw turkeys. Went last weekend and had a fawn under my stand eating acorns for twenty minutes and had a nice Tom under my stand also. This weekend the temps were ideal but I was salmon fishing instead.

With all the downsizing going on, i have a new job, so i haven't been able to check this site out. so here we go. we have 5 people that hunt on our property, during the bow season so far we have shot 8 does, 0 bucks. we all have our buck tags now, just waiting for that giant to step out in the open, should be real soon. good luck to everyone and shot straight, knock them down!

They are out there where I hunt, but they come out 2 or 3 hours after legal hunting time still. Have seen a few does and fawns, but not too much. Lots of turkeys though
