need some help river steelies

i have been trying to figure out how to fish the spring current conditions around estabrook park. i am havin trouble with the water speed when floating spawn and need some advice on fishin spawn and any rig setups im new at steelie fishin this year in the river and would love to learn some spots and tricks any help would be great also how long this run will last ......also i live in glendale and am lookin for someplace to buy some GOOD spawn. If some could send some pics of rig set ups that would be awsome thanks for the help ....shane

I use 10 power pro double uni knotted to 10 lb fluorocarbon. I use a fixed position float with a couple split shot and a small octopus hook. Bobs Bait and R&R's are where I get most of my spawn. Estabrook has not had a normal flow for most of the spring, but that is how it is every spring. Try and fish it when water clears up (not mud chocolate color). Bigger floats and more weight or use of jig when water is raging will help.
