goin to the root ovr by lincoln or horlick dam, need help

me and some buddies r goin to either the root ovr by lincoln park or the horlick dam next week thursday
i was wondering what one would be better for steelhead
and what to use

river fishing is really dependent on water flows - I would recommend you monitor river fishing reports closer to your trip and hopefully figure it out. In general - if water is high the dam will be better, if low Lincoln park. Spawn sacks will usually work - but just like all fishing they may not be best bait for day.
