Lake Michigan fishing from shore

I've never fished Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. I want to fish it on Wed 3/12/08 from shore. Please let me know where I can park, and maybe a few suggestions on where to fish.

go ice fishing at the Summerfest Lagoon or under the Hoan bridge if you want to cast.

You could also fish Jones island and back by the main post office and MMSD off of plankington and st paul. I'll be down at Jones and Summerfest tomorrow morning to give it a shot.

Luv2Fish There are tons of fish in the river by Summerfest...you could probably have a field day trolling in there if it wasnt for the ice...Jones was all ice so no fishing down there just yet.

HotHead617, Thanks for the info yesterday. I fished under the Hoan this morning. Landed three and lost a couple, had a blast. NE wind pushed in alot of ice had to leave at noon. Thanks again.
