Went out today with a buddy and we only picked up 2 crappies....seen alot of crappies and some largemouths and rock bass...but the crappies were just noseing the bait..really,really picky...but lots of them and we seen some rather large ones...tried jigs and plastics,and jigs and waxies..wish we would have had some minnows.

Report from the last 2 days.....yesterday tried fishing labelle and we caught a bunch of fish but all of them being small...did see some decent fish on the camera but there is also a ton of pike pushed in shallow so everytime you catch a fish you have a pike hanging out by the hole also seen some eyes and bass on the camera.
Today fishing not as good did catch a bunch of fish again but all small did not even see as many on the camera as yesterday..and as yesterday tons of pike down the hole also seen a eye again and some bass.


Just a heads up be careful on the shorelines my buddy broke through the ice on the shore as we were leaving..... good thing is it was only 2-3 feet deep... bad thing is you have to drive home like that...where he fell in it blew like a 6 foot section of ice wide open so it is getting thin on the shores pick your spot on and off carefully.

Thinking about heading out tomorrow, ive only fished the lake once or twice. If anyone has any general starting locations for gills or crappies i'd appreciate it.
