Lake Nagawicka (Kettle)

went out to the kettle this morning in the rain and did fairly well. managed some nice gills for a meal on waxies and plastics. the bigger fish came closer to the bottom. today will probably be the last day before the ice is unsafe to walk on. there was maybe four inches when i left at noon. the kettle is no place you want to go through since it is so deep. i"ll be back out there when we get some colder wheather.

Went out yesterday it was looking like it was going to be a good afternoon and as soon as i launched the wind pick up and made it tough to fish not to mention about 1-2 footers .I cruised around and searched out the channels hopeing that they would have some wind cover and there was none but we ended up catching about 11 largies before the sky opended up and soaked us pretty good.We picked up them bass pretty quickly first time i ever fished that lake but i'll give it another shot but not today.

Went out this morning with Wapa2le again to try the kettle and it was slow we caught about 40 gills but the biggest being 5 inches we tried from 6fow-30fow with the same results everywhere.Will be back out again tomorrow.
