Fished Pleasant 3 times last week. Lake was at about 50% pool, and highest surface temp we marked was 55.7.

Cold snap really pushed these fish deep. (figures it's going to be 69 degress all week and we never made it to 59 degrees last week) We could not get bit shallow, with the exception of super micro bass. Wish I would have spent more time in the 40'-50' range, but caught whites from 15'-20', and stripers from 20'-30'. Zips, Jigging spoons, and gulp minnnows on drop shots. (everything we marked was on the bottom, regardless of the depth)

As always, very pretty water to be on......

Made it back to AZ last week for unfortunate circumstances. Did manage a couple outings at Pleasant. Whites and Crappies drop shotting gulp (16'-25'). Big fish are really deep (40'), along with the shad making live bait retrieval difficult at best. Always pretty scenery. Here are a couple of cuties......

Made it back out to Zona last week - outstadning weather. Unfortuntately the fishing sucked. The lakes were at 99% capacity, and full of cold "run-off" water. It had come up over 25 feet since the last trip 5 weeks ago.

Oh well, great weather and great scenery as always!

Back with Little Bro for the New Years outing. Finally have the bait dialed in, as well as, the throw net skills - nothing like beautiful threadfin shad.

Fish were all over the water collumn from 50' - 20' FOW. Caught fish on jiggin spoons, and drop shots as well - but live bait outfished artificials about 40-1 over the 2 days.

No kicker fish this day, but plenty of action. Whites, Stripers and largies!

Last Az outings for this run, it's back to the Tundra for me.
Good bite on live shad past couple days and the weather was outstanding.
Largies, stripers and whites....

Another AZ trip closes with a few tough outings at the lake. Low, cold water, and no bait to be had. Never crushed em, but always managed a few. Drop shots and senko's.

Wildlife viewing was often better than the fishing.
Back to the cold tomorrow.

It looks warm compared to what we have today and the next 4 months. Must have been nice. Pretty good fish too.
