fished here sunday morning, we fished for 3 hours without even seeing a keeper, then about 10 am we finnally found some fish, sight fishin was the key again, caught about 40 gills with 8 of them being 8"-9-1/4", a few largemouth, purple with spikes was the key. if i didn't see it myself, i wouldn't have believed it. my buddy fished there friday and said he was seeing lots of huge gills, so we went to check it out, he was right. had to leave at 11:15 to take my son to hockey. wish i could have sat it out till dark, i think i would have had a limit.had 2 flags with nothing, all the largemouth were hitting the spikes. work is looking slow this week, might try to get out there during the week. only 5 guys there when we left.
