First ice On fox chain

I hit a channel of the fox chain yesterday with two friends and between the three of us we caught 127 bluegills 33 crappies and 1 largemouth. We were fishing 2 feet of water on 2 inches of ice. Felt good to be on top of hard water again.:D

Eric biggest gill taped at 9 1/2 most between 6 1/2 and 8"s and crappies ran bewteen 9 and 11 inches. This spot last year first ice we got crappies up to 13 inches and the gills run smaller! I had a buddy who was out on saturday at the t channels off pistakee lake and he wound up getting 88 between 7 1/2 and 9 1/2 inchers! I will be hitting Pistakee lake by Wensday on a cetain bay that has big gills and will post on thursday !:)
