Shrimp?

I've read that shrimp work really well for steelies, but have been hesitant to try it. Has anybody tried it with success? Not sure if cooked/raw is best and shell on/off? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've used it and done pretty good at times with cooked shrimp, I will also die the shrimp with a hot red color etc.. at times. Give it a try....

I have seen cooked shrimp take not only steelies but perch as well....both very successfully.

Yes I have also used Shrimp for bait foe Perch, with the shell off. When we go on vacation to Belize, that all we use is shrimp.
