Elizabeth Lake

06/29/07 Switched gears today and fished Elizabeth lake with Bob Riepenhoff from the Milwaukee Journal. We ended up with around 12 Largemouth 8-12" and many gills in the 7-8" range. We ended up fishing an underwater point in the weedline at 12-17' catching a few crappies with the largest being 12". All in all we had a pretty good time learning new water today.

Made it out on Elizabeth for the first time. Been hearing they've been getting nice crappies. Made it on the lake at 8:00 did not get my first fish until 11:00.Did alot of moving. Finally found some fish by the "hundred steps". Nothing real big, biggest ten inches. Ended up keeping some for the deep fryer.

Don't know if this picture is worthy of being posted of wibigfish. Still had a good time catching them. Good fishing Dean
