Hi Eric,

Saw the site on Wisc. Waters and Woods. Can't believe the Lakers you guys caught on the Milwaukee River. Excellent!
Do you do any trips for browns through the ice during the winter? I saw some of the pics you posted, and I want in on some of that. Let me know, if you could please, when you typically do these types of trips.
Thanks
Chris

Sorry I have not checked the Forums in a while. The best time for winter browns open water is Dec- April. and for ice fishing it's Late December-feb.

Feel free to call me or e-mail me if you have any questions.

The fall/winter brown trout fishing has been heating up with the last cold spell. Fished the milwaukee harbor and river for browns. Did very well with browns and rainbows casting cranks, spoons and jigs. We fished any where we could find bait fish and warmer water. The ramps were starting to ice in. With out a warm spell soon we will be locked out for awhile.
